The “House of MANA” participated in the 19th Panhellenic Scientific and Professional Nursing Conference of the Hellenic Nurses Association (E.N.E.), held from 13 to 16 May 2026 in Heraklion, Crete, presenting a modern and holistic approach to supporting women after gynecological cancer.

The Director of the non-profit organization “House of MANA”, Dr. Konstantina Gaitanou, and one of the organization’s volunteer, Mrs. Angeliki Nikitaki, Senior Practitioner Life & Health Coach (EMCC), presented the topic:

“Holistic Support After Gynecological Cancer: The Contribution of Health & Life Coaching to the Work of the House of MANA.”

The presentation highlighted the complex needs of women following the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological cancer — physical, psychological, social, and existential — as well as the importance of an interdisciplinary and human-centered approach to survivorship care.

Special emphasis was placed on the role of Health & Life Coaching as a collaborative process that strengthens self-awareness, self-efficacy, and the management of fatigue and fear of recurrence, as well as reconnecting women with their quality of life and daily routines.

Participation in the conference was an important opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experiences with healthcare professionals from all over Greece, highlighting the importance of combining scientific knowledge, empathy, and holistic care in supporting women after cancer.

We would like to sincerely thank the organizers of the conference and the Scientific Committee for the invitation and hospitality, as well as to all participants for their interest and meaningful response.

“Our goal is to help women move from survival to truly living.”
