The House of MANA was very happy to participate in WOW – Women of the World – Athens 2023, presented for the first time in Greece by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, from April 1 to 3.
MANA participated with its own booth on all 3 days of the Marketplace, handing out informational materials-brochures and self-examination cards, providing the opportunity for female visitors to be informed about breast cancer and any gynecological cancer.
As part of the festival, on Saturday April 1st, the Workshop “Progressing proudly: A workshop for women fighting cancer” was held with MANA volunteer make-up artist Takis Mavrigiannakis and acclaimed photographer Olympia Krasagaki.
Also on Sunday, April 2, a Workshop was held: “Breast Self-Examination and its Importance”, with a screening of the self-examination video and the speaker was the Director of MANA, Dr. Isolde Chatzigianni.
