On September 4, 2026, “The House of MANA” participated in the 9th Symposium of the Medically Assisted Reproduction Unit (MIYA) of the Athens Naval Hospital, centered on the theme: “From Data Integrity to Family Creation: Science, Research, and Ethics in Medically Assisted Reproduction”.

“MANA” was represented by the General Director of the organization, Dr. Konstantina Gaitanou, who took part in the session “The Psychosocial Perspective of Infertility” with her presentation: “Preserving Fertility and Hope: Oocyte Cryopreservation, the Role of the Assisted Reproduction Unit, and the Work of ‘MANA'”.

During the presentation:

– The importance of timely and accurate information was highlighted regarding fertility preservation, particularly for women about to undergo treatments that may affect their reproductive capacity.

– The essential contribution of “MANA” was presented, focusing on awareness, psychosocial empowerment, and holistic support for women with breast or gynecological cancer.

Oocyte cryopreservation is not just a modern scientific capability. It preserves a future choice, a perspective, and, above all, hope.
